The Fake MAC Eyeshadow

One of my favorite places to shop and find great bargain is the Fashion District in Downtown Los Angeles. On the other hand, I really hate it when I find sellers who lies and tricks the consumers. I found a man who was selling fake MAC makeup. He claimed they were real but the packaging is just different and theres no MAC logo. He had pigments, brushes, eye shadows, blushes on palettes and ect. After playing with the samples, I looked at him straight in his eyes and said "Dude, this is freakin' fake!" The man tried to convince me that they were real ugh! Hes a fool, I tell you!!
I know hes just trying to make a living but he shouldnt lie to people...you know what I mean? Anyway, to make the story short. I kept aruguing with him and in the end he gave me a free sample to take home lol. I thought it was funny.

Obviously the left side is the fake one

They are the same in size. The fake Mac has a black and shiny packaging

It also opens on the bottom. There was a tiny sponge tip applicator inside but i threw it away. It has a mirror too.

I also noticed that there are a lot of these in the internet so be careful ladies. Don't be fooled.
By the way, the real Mac eye shadow is Shroom. Its a pretty high light color ^_^

  4. LOL. I've had a fake brush and my friend got bamboozled into buying hella stuff (brushes, palettes, glitter, pigments) and they were all fake and so obvious.
It pisses me off because I think about is that these products are probably not regulated and it might have nasty stuff in it.

  12. wtf FAKE mac eyeshadow?! I mean I understand fake designer purses but the eyeshadow is prob not even the same quality as the real one and people buy MAC for their quality, not for the name! At least I do... Hmm. He prob hasn't ever seen MAC before, cuz how can he say that those are MAC when the mac logo isn't on there? weirddd but WAY TO TELL HIM :D

  14. OMG, i totally agree with you too girl. I love going to Denios up here in Sac. I know these people who sells the fake MAC also. But the ones they have actually has the MAC logo on it. It looks exactly like the real MAC. My sister wanted to buy some cause they were so cheap. I told her not too cause the ones they have also opens on the botton. So she didnt get it. So I ask the lady, ARE THEY REAL MAC. She said yes to me. I didnt say anything back but walk away. I was like damn, if i was not a real MAC fan then I would probably fell for it and bought me some already. Haha. Thank god i've done my research. haha.

  15. i wonder how he'll convince people it's the real thing when the logo to begin with is missing. the label on the back looks so much different too. the only good thing about it is that it comes with a mirror and applicator.
