I'm referring to Mark's blending brush. You all know I am a Mark representative, but that doesn't mean I won't give you my honest thoughts and review. That is why I am letting all of you know about this brush. Please do not buy it! I went to http://www.makeupalley.com/ and I was surprised to see some good reviews about this brush. Does It mean I was the only one who had a bad brush? I don't think so.

What is it? Perfect for blending shades together, thanks to long, slightly fanned hair. 6.5" L
How is the quality? Very poor. I was so excited to order this brush because I have a thing for blending brushes. I was so disappointed! The bristles were rough and scratchy. It would have been really good for blending because the bristles are dense and fluffy, but it's just way to scratchy! I gave it a chance and washed and conditioned it for several days thinking the bristles would get soft. Nope! It was still the same. It had really good packaging though, but it won't make up for it's poor quality.
I would never ever buy this again unless they change the quality. ELF blending brush works better and its only a buck http://www.eyeslipsface.com/
next to my coastal scents crease brush.

OMG I bought 2 of those brushes over 6mths now based on reviews from the website. They really are the worst brushes ever. They are scratchy and they shed a lot. I use them for contouring mostly. Those things cannot be used on eyelids.

ReplyDeleteOOOooohhh Thank you thank you thank you. I'll take your word for it. Besides, I have a great one that I use from Japonesque. It's super soft and the BEST for blending eyeshadow. It was a bit pricey though. I will attest that the eyeshadow brushes by mark (the little one and the broader one) are pretty decent.

hey baby girl. thanks for the sweet comment. no im not offended. I dont want people to just take my side. i know im at fault too in a way. i dress conservatively around him but it's a girls night out and it's a fact that ladies are treated better @ clubs when dressed sexy and if they show more skin. i swear i didnt even get hit on even once that night. i rarely go clubbing anymore - only on special events like birthdays. i never dance with other guys when i do. it's unfair that some men are hypocrites they like looking at dirty mags and import girls and love going to strip clubs but they can't take it when their gFs wear skimpy outfits. honestly, it's a big adjustment for me just being with him. i dont get compliments from him not even once. i know it's wrong to compare him with my EXes. he has a different way of showing his love. But we are ladies and we want the confidence boost from time to time. I want him to appreciate me more and im always straightforward and i tell him how i want to be treated but he is as stubborn as hell. i gave up being a spoiled princess and i sometimes I even pay now when we go out on dates but i dont mind that at all. I dont want him to think that he is just a meal ticket and i'm just using him. i'm not trying to defend myself girl but i did gave up a lot and changed my ways just to be with him this long. i hope he considers that. my eyes are still burning from crying lat night. i stopped now. i hope he mans up and just tell me in person (not just on the phone) if he really wanted to end it. i'm open to working it out but i hate waiting in vain like this. salamat kapatid ur so bait!!! muah muah muah!

ReplyDeletethanks again for the comment hun. i forgot i told u about my bf not giving compliments before. now that i think about it, i never really received any from him. i always have to fish for it (e.g. i will ask him if he likes my hair like this and he would just say "okay lang" or "maganda" - but he won't mention it first unless i ask him). sometimes i would change my hair color and he won't even notice it. i dont know if he's doing it on purpose. maybe he just doesnt want it to get to my head. but still a compliment or two wont hurt right? i think my confidence level went down coz of him. im not the perfect gf - i might have done things to set him off lyk that but nothing really serious that i know. i also have my faults like i dont call him as much (im not a phone person). he hates when i fall asleep without waiting for him to get home safely. he hates when i dont answer his calls right away - i might be in the bathroom. he is always paranoid and he thinks im cheating on him all the time. i cant blame him coz he knows i've cheated on my ex but i never cheated on him but he isn't buying it. he caught me lying about talking to my ex-bf on the phone but that's it. it was a long time ago and we already settled that. i think it's his trust issues. i know im not that pretty but i still get hit on by random guys at work and never did i give them my number or went out with them. i try to be a good gf and put up with his insecurities and work our differences (we're total opposites too). im patient like that. but i guess it's not good enuff for him. IM HAPPY FOR U THAT U HAVE A GREAT RELATIONSHIP WITH UR MAN. LUCKY GIRL DONT LET HIM GET AWAY LOL! so sorry for venting this out to u. i know i can trust u and i truly value ur honest opinion. pls feel free to put me in my place. believe me i need it. i haven't told any of my friends about this yet. it really helps having a blog especially now.
