It gives me a natural glow ^_^

Winter is already here, and I want to share a cream blush that I've been using. It's Mark's Just Pinched in Sunny. I've been wearing it almost everyday. It's perfect for winter because it last longer than powder blush, and it gives natural glow to my face.

What is it? Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Sunny glides on smoothly and blends easily to provide a sheer wash of natural looking color. 0.14 oz. net wt.

How is the quality? I love the packaging. It's a small tube where you twist and the product comes out. Its very portable, and I carry one in my makeup bag. The texture is smooth, and last longer than a powder blush.

How do I like it? I love it. I have oily skin and usually, I stay away from cream blushes because they make my face more oily, but not this one. I didn't have a problem with it at all. Its very easy to apply and blend. I like to use my fingers or a foundation brush to apply on my cheeks.

The color works well with my skin tone too. It looks dark in the tube but It is quite sheer, so I have total control of how much goes on my face. And the price is great! It's only $6.00 ^_^.

EOTN: It's Sparkly and Glittery!!

I finally had the chance to play with some of my NYX chrome eyeshadows. Ugh, It was so messy to play with them because of the poor packaging. I have to get one of those small jar containers with a sifter. Anyway, there were so many colors and my favorite so far is BEANIE. Its a brownish eyeshadow with purple and silver shimmers and fine glitters. I've never seen anything like it before and it's such a beautiful color.

products used:
  • Mac Painterly paint pot as a base
  • NYX chrome e/s in Beanie on the lid APPLIED WET!
  • Mac e/s in Sketch on the crease
  • Wet and Wild mega eyes in Goddess above the crease
  • NYX e/s in White on the browbone
  • Mark's hook up liquid liner in Cleo
  • Benefit's Eye Bright
  • Mark's pencil liner in black
  • Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara

More NYX swatches are in the process. My Picasa is acting up so there's a delay :/ On the other hand, I hope everything is having a great day/night ^_^

Its rough and scratchy. I HATE IT!

I'm referring to Mark's blending brush. You all know I am a Mark representative, but that doesn't mean I won't give you my honest thoughts and review. That is why I am letting all of you know about this brush. Please do not buy it! I went to and I was surprised to see some good reviews about this brush. Does It mean I was the only one who had a bad brush? I don't think so.

To Louzee of this review is for you ^_^

What is it? Perfect for blending shades together, thanks to long, slightly fanned hair. 6.5" L

How is the quality? Very poor. I was so excited to order this brush because I have a thing for blending brushes. I was so disappointed! The bristles were rough and scratchy. It would have been really good for blending because the bristles are dense and fluffy, but it's just way to scratchy! I gave it a chance and washed and conditioned it for several days thinking the bristles would get soft. Nope! It was still the same. It had really good packaging though, but it won't make up for it's poor quality.

I would never ever buy this again unless they change the quality. ELF blending brush works better and its only a buck

next to my coastal scents crease brush.

Have you tried this brush? Do you have a similar experience?

My next review is my favorite Mark brush :)

The Ultimate Grub #1 CARNE ASADA FRIES.

Besides reading about makeup and beauty related things, I also enjoy reading food post or recipe post from fellow beauty bloggers. I love food. I love to eat. I get excited talking about food as much as makeup!

I have my own favorite recipes up my sleeves that I like to make from time to time, and I call them "The Ultimate Grub". They are no doubt unhealthy, extremely fattening, and will possibly give you heart burn but the 15 minutes of heaven I feel when I eat them is incredible. One of them is...

The Ultimate Grub#1 Carne Asada Fries

This food is very dear to me. The first time I had it was during my senior year in college. A new Mexican 24 hour food place just opened not too far from campus. Everyone was talking about these bad boys. It sounded weird at firs. but I had to try it. OMG! It was the bomb!! meaning, who the heck invented this, so I can give him a big hug. Ever since then I learned how re-create it, and its easy!

1. Pre cut seasoned french fries. I prefer these because It makes my life easier unless you want to be hardcore and cut your own
2. Carne Asada meat. I used a left over steak
3. Sharp shredded cheddar cheese
4. Sour cream
5. Cilantro or Chinese parsley or Wansoy
6. Ripe plump tomatoes
7. Avocados
8. Onions
9. Lime juice
10. Salt to taste

I don't have the exact measurement of ingredients. Just wing it or estimate how much you need depending on how many people are going to grub. Also, you can even add some other ingredients you can think of like jalapenos or whatever. Make It your own.

1. Prepare the simple salsa. Dice the tomatoes, avocados, onions and cilantro and place them in a bowl with the Avocado seed. Mix the all together.  (The Avocado seed with prevent the avocado from truning brown quickly).  DON'T SEASON IT!

quick tip: Roll the cilantro in a bunch for easy chopping.

quick tip: for an easy way of taking out the Avocado seed, hit it with the knife then twist and lift. It works every time.

2. Chop the meat in bite size cubes.

3. Season the meat with salt and lime juice.

4. Fry it in hot oil. I use canola oil because it's what we have. They will cook quickly becase they are small. Make sure you don't over cook the meat. No bueno!

5. Once its cooked. Put it aside

6. Time to cook the french fries. I do the double frying method so the fries will come out crispy on the outside and soft inside. (cook the fries in oil with medium heat for a few minutes, take it out, crank up the heat up to high. Place the fries back into the oil to flash fry.)

7. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

8. Top it with sour cream. I placed the sour cream in a small ziploc bag, squeezed it down to the bottom corner, cut a small hole on the tip. Fancy right?

9. Put the simple salsa on top. Its beautfiul already!

10. Then place the meat. Mmmm....

11. Then top it off with sour cream again, and you're done!!

I hope you guys enjoy this post as much as I did.  Try it out and I guarantee you will be happy ^_^

It came in 2 days. NYX Goodies!!

Don't judge me!!! I know, I know... I don't need anymore makeup but this deal was too good to pass. I did a post a few days ago about NYX's end of the year bundle sale, and I did not hesitate to buy the 59 chrome eyeshadow and 22 glitter bundle. I was feeling an adrenaline rush when I placed the order as I put my debit card info. I didn't even hesitate to click on the order button, and next thing I knew it was over. The damage was done! I know Its sounds silly, but you have to understand, makeup makes me happy ^_^.

My package came in 2 days. It was super quick. NYX head quarters is not that far from where I live, so maybe that's why it came so fast.

59 Chrome eyeshadows

What are they? According to the NYX cosmetics website, these loose shadows provide an intense metallic effect with robust iridescent color that shines. The powder is soft and silky and offers a high pay off. A best seller at professional trade shows.(source:

How much are they? They retail for $5.00 each but I got them for $59.00 for the bundle which makes it $1.00 each.

How is the quality?  If you must know, these cubes are the old packaging. They are now in pigment jars. I hate the cube packaging! It gets kinda messy when you open the lid and plastic insert inside, so be very careful. On the other hand, the colors are soooo gorgeous and the color payoff is very good. Some are metallic as promised and some are more of sparkly with a lot of shimmers, which I love. Also, the texture is ultra fine andfeels silky against the skin.

22 Glitter on the Go

What are they? Loose glitter packed in a cute case with a knock out punch! Perfect to apply to hair, face and body. Safe to use and none irritating. (source:

How much are they? They retail for $4.00 each but I got 22 glitters for $17.00

How is the quality? Just like the chrome eyeshadows, the packaging is terrible!!! I might have to transfer them into small jar containers. On the other hand, the colors are soo beautiful. I'm serious!!! The texture is fine and soft.

I will do swatches in all of them so watch out for that ^_^
