New Year, New BANGS!!

I got bangs!!!

...thanks to boredom and Rachel Ray kitchen shears! Yes, I did it myself and kitchen shears worked just fine ^_^ I still can't believe I did it lol. I have been wanting a new look without sacrificing the length of my hair and getting bangs is the way to go. I look very different and, I really love it ^_^

I was very careful not to cut my bangs too short so I was cutting my hair little by little. I thought about side bangs but eh... I've done it before so why not go for something totally different like straight bangs. This look is very bold and its something I never thought would work but it does and, I'm happy I did it.

I cut my bangs with my hair dry so I can see the real length.

I know they dont look perfect but it will do for now. Once it grows a bit then I will go to a salon to get them really straight.

I finally got to see the movie AVATAR in 3d with my boyfriend. It is really a must see! The movie had amazing special effects and, and 3d effect made it even better.

I thought I post this pic of my boyfriend smiling. He's smiling!!! He never smiles in pictures. I took it when he asked me, "Why do Asians do this a lot in pictures?" then threw peace signs lol.

Does anyone know the answer to this question? Write it down in the comment ^_^ ( I'm Asian and I do it too lol)

    I LOVE YOUR FREAKING BANGS. I used to have bangs as a little girl and because I have really small eyes, I looked totally Asian. But it looks really good on you. You can play it up and look ultra couture glam or play it down to something playful and cute.

    Kitchen shears are the way to go, dude. Good for tackling small roasted chickens and cutting bangs. I use non stick spray for pancakes and white chicken breast and occasionally spray hinges on my room door when they get squeaky, not kidding of course. Bet you I can use it as oil sheen too! ;)

    Jeez. These girls need to read your posts and not just respond to the first picture they see on your blog.

    haha! hindi ko alam baket ganyan lagi mag pose ang asian eh. sa kaka ganyan ko nga sa pictures nagagaya na rin pati ng nanay ko. haha!

    I tried that look a couple of years ago but it doesn't fit me coz my face is uber small. Plus it made me look so much younger than I am.

    Hahah I am not sure why Asians do this either! I remember when I was like 10 or something and my family had Japanese girls come and stay with us for a swap program thingy and they always did the peace sign in their photos! My sister and I caught on too and started doing it in all our photos- but of course had no idea why we were actually doing it or what it meant lol

    P.S. Yes me too, Nicole Kidman has an amazing voice in Moulin Rouge :)
