Using an eyeliner is a great way to define one's eyes. On the other hand, they tend to fade and melt away easily and will sometimes give you racoon eyes by the end of the day. In my opinion, it doesn't metter if its a high end or low end brand eyeliner. It will fade. So heres a quick tip to prevent that.
Tip: Set your eyeliner with an eyeshadow powder

Use an angled brush and dip into a similar color eyeshadow. Tap off the excess!!! you don't want to get too much product on your water line.

Gently pat it on where you applied the eyeliner. This will set the eyeliner in place.
Try it! and I hope this helps ^_^
Keep in mind that this tip may or may not work for everyone, so do it at your own risk. Also, I do not recomment this tip if you wear contact lenses because irritation may occur. Read the comments below to find out how it worked for my readers.

Wow, how long does it last for you? Thanks for the tip =]
ReplyDeleteCool, cool good tip :) I'll try that because when I apply liner on my waterline it never lasts long.
ReplyDeleteAwesome tip Becky! Thank you so very very much!!!!
ReplyDeletenice tip becky!
ReplyDeletei totally know how you feel about keeping updated w. everyones blogs! its just too much to check in w. everyone daily. but youve always replied to me when i had Qs! :P
ReplyDeletelove the daily tips! sometimes i apply shadow on top of liner to make it stay too. i recently tried the MUFA aqua liners & is it juss me or they dont really glide on the skin? i really like the UD 24/7 liners and theyre the same price but i always have to sharpen them which makes them run out faster and since the liner blunts easily sometimes the liner can get messy. hope im making sense. just wondering if u have thoughts on the MUFE and UD liners?
:)
Thanks for the tip! i will try it later :)
ReplyDeleteI've tried this before but it kinda makes my eye feel itchy & stuff...

ReplyDeletelove stila's kajal eyeliner but it smudges like crazy, this is the only way to make it stick though hehe :)
ReplyDeleteI notice my liner smudges from my waterline when I put too much on. For example, my stila kajal! UGH.. I'm stupid though because I know it does that haha!
ReplyDeleteNice tip Becky! I do this too, but it feels weird on my waterline, lol.

ReplyDeleteGreat tip! I've been using liquid liner on my bottom lids for years, because pencil liner disappears after five minutes. I'll give this a whirl! :)

ReplyDeleteLots of love,
This is a great tip for those who may not have known how useful it is to getting a lasting eyeliner. Good job Becky, you're so helpful!
