A water bottle never looked this good ^_^

Hey readers! TGIF and I hope everyone is having a great one. Anyway, I just wanted to share this Guess water bottle i got from my mom today. Someone gave it to her at work and, she gave it to me because she said in her own words, "...its too pretty too drink". She's so funny! I didn't think my mom would care about stuff like that.

The shape of the bottle is nothing too interesting. Its the same water bottle from the Beverly Hilton hotel. On the other hand, the label is sooo pretty! It has fashion icons Claudia Schiffer, Marilyn Monroe and Sophia Loren in black and white photos. Oh yeeeaaah...Sophia Loren is pretty much the hottest person on earth. Maybe not so much now that she's old but she's still beautiful.

My goodness, Sophia Loren is perfect!

I know it is not makeup related but its sooo pretty, I had to share lol. I'm silly^_^

...must use an EYE CREAM!

How do you know when its time to use an eye cream? In my opinion, it is never too late or early to take care of the skin around the eyes.Tthe skin around the eyes is very delicate, sensitive and different from the rest of the face and it requires a specific skin care. So I suggest to look at your self in the mirror and if you see wrinkles and dark circles forming then it is time!

images from

An eye cream is a moisturizer specifically formulated for the eye area. It won't damage or ruin the soft tissue around the eyes or cause irritation. A lot of the creams contains ingredients with anti-aging benefits (green tea) and will reduce wrinkles (retinol, caffein, vitamin C), puffiness and dark circles (vitamin K,hydroquinone) . It  really depends on what brand you chose. They all have different claims and promises. But whatever problems you may have, just make sure you find the right one for you.

I have light dark circles and few wrinkles forming under my eyes (yikes!). It is nothing serious so I don't need an intense repair eye cream...yet.  For now, I use Alba Green Tea eye gel. It has anti-aging and moisturing benefits that I need. This is some good stuff. I have been using the product for months and, I really like it. It feels soothing to the eye area and it wakes up my eyes in the morning because of its cooling sensation. It is very moisturizing and great under my concealer which prevents it from caking up. I only need a little bit and, it goes a long way.
can be purchased at your local CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart and  Price depends on where you go. I purchased mine at my local CVS for $22.00 but other places are cheaper.

so do you use an eye cream? If so, what do you use?

Affordable brush belt by ELF

If you are a makeup artist on a budget and in need of a good brush belt then you should check out ELF (eyes lips face) Artist brush belt. It is very affordable, easy to clean and it will hold all your brushes ^_^

WHAT: The e.l.f. Makeup Artist Brush Belt is made of an easy to clean faux leather material. The belt has an array of interior nylon pockets varying in size to accommodate all brush sizes. The center pockets are also designed to hold mascara, eye pencils, lip glosses or any other slender makeup product. An adjustable strap allows for the belt to be comfortably worn around the wais or over the shoulder. To protect brushes after use, fold the belt in half and close with the attached strap. Source:

QUALITY: made from faux leather material with shiny texture. Some say it is comparable to MAC brush belt but I don't own one so I can't put my 2 cents on that.

PRICE: $15.00 What an amazing deal.

SIZE:Unfolded: L x W = 10” x 15.5”

          Folded: L x W x H= 10” x 7.25” x 1”

Overall thought: I think it's good quality brush belt. I was able to use it for the first time at a makeup internship I did for a music video a few weeks back and, I had no problems with it at all. It was light weight, easy to clean and there were so many pockets to fit in all my brushes and random tools! Plus, it was only $15.00 ^_^

Have a good one ^_^

Swatch/Review: NARS Lip Gloss in ROSE GITANE

If you are looking for a sheer lip gloss that leaves a subtle pop of color on the lips then you should definitely check out NARS lip gloss. I own one in Rose Gitane which is a sheer deep wine color. It is definitely one of the best sheer lip gloss I  have ever used.

WHAT: Serious shine and sexy color in sheer, creamy and semi-sheer formulas. Extremely wearable and versatile shades may be worn alone or over other lip products for heightened drama. Ultra-shiny and highly pigmented, convenient wand application, iconic shades and ideal alone or over other lip color. Source:

COLOR: Rose Gitane is a sheer deep wine. Its sheer but pigmented enough to show on the lips.

TEXTURE: Smooth, non sticky ^_^ and non-drying.

SCENT: It has a weird hint of platic-y smell to it but its not too strong to turn me off.

PRICE: $24.00 I guess you can call it an investment ^_^

AMOUNT: Size: 0.28 oz

Overall, it is a great lipgloss. The sheer wine shade is very nice on my medium skin tone. I like to wear it by itself during the day and I get compliments all the time. If you do not care about the price then you should definitely check it out. I suggest you go to your local Sephora where you can see and play with all the different shades they have.

Have a good one!

Product Review: MARK Good Riddance HookUp concealer

Hello readers! I'm back with another review of Mark Good Riddance HookUp concealer in Medium/Deep. I'm currently using this concealer for everyday use and, I am pleased to say that I really like this product. It covers my light dark circles, blemishes and, it is very portable.

WHAT:  A concealer in a pencil form as part of Mark's Hook Up line. Product claims that it cover skin imperfections or under-eye circles with this creamy, oil-free concealer stick that glides gently over the skin. (
WHERE Can be purchased through your local Mark representative or go to or go to my mark e-botique at
AMOUNT: 0.087 oz. net wt.
COLORS: Comes in 4 shades all yellow based.
TEXTURE: Its very creamy and goes smooth on the skin. Safe enough to apply under the eyes and blend with a finger
PRICE: $6.00 but right now you can buy 2 and get 1 free from any of their HookUp collection.

A HookUp connector is free when you purchase 2. You can hook up 2 items on both ends. There are a lot of HookUp items to choose from. For example, I put together good riddance concealer on one end and plumping lip gloss on the other end. You can customize and switch them up according to your preference. They are so portable and convenient

swatch of Medium/Deep
-The product is very creamy for a pencil form concealer ^_^
-It works well covering my blemishes and light under eye circle.
-I really like the whole idea of the HookUP line. Its very portable and you can customize what you can put in the hook up connector.

-The product is quite small.
-Sharpening the pencil makes you waste more product. No bueno!

Final Thought: Its a great product but keep in mind that whatever works for me might not work for you. I really like the product because it works for me.  Read more reviews on and to see what other people think and feel about it.

Its an excuse to go out on a romantic date with your boyfriend and maybe get your favorite flowers if you've been a good girlfriend lol.
My love day was a bit random but a good one. My bf and I did not really plan anything.  He picked me up from work and we ended up going to The Grove because it was not far. At The Grove, we had lunch at Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. I've been there severeal times and I really like it. It was so not so busy when we went to it was nice. My baby kos and I had a great time laughing and making fun of each other while I forced him to like his food ^_^

Afterward, we walked around, went to different shops then found out that there was going to be a a free event at the plaza. So exciting! They had Hawaiian music/entertainment, free food and lei. There were so many families, children and couples around. It was an instant date for us ^_^

Here are some of the photos.
They were really good. The show made me want to go to Hawaii!!!

FOTN: Birfday Look. Coppery Gold and Greens.

Hey readers, thank you so much for the birthday greetings and funny comments on my last post. You guys are awesome! I guess I'll stop complaining about my old age and just enjoy being 25 (ugh, it still makes me cringe when I say that number lol).

Anyway, here is the look I did on my birthday dinner with my boyfriend. I did a very simple and easy look using Coppery Gold and Greens. I really like this look because it is light and it does not compete with the color of my bright dress.

-The Body Shop tea tree anti blemish moisturizer
-Avon Magic Face Perfector as a base
-Cover Girl Clean oil control liquid foundation in Soft Honey all over the face and ears.
-Graftobian Face Corrector concealer using the soft orange under the eyes and topped with a cream highlighter.
-Derma Blend translucent loose powder dusted on top of foundation/concealer to set it.
-Nars blush in Orgasm brushed lightly on the cheeks
-Milani powder mosaic on Afterglow to contour the cheekbones.

-Almay Line Smoothing concealer as a base.
-Mark's I-mark e/s in Magic all over the lids
-Milani Shadow Wear quad in Earthly Delight in Gold Green e/s in the inner corners of the eyes and browbone and Antique Gold above the crease.
-Physicians Formula Organic Wear eye liner pencil in Black Olive on the upper and lower lashline.
-Mark's Super Flip e/s in Dare patted on top of the eyeliner and waterline as well.
-Maybelline Great Big Lash mascara

Mark I-mark e/s in Magic, Mark's Super Flip e/s in Dare, Physicians Formula Black Olive, Milani Antique Gold and Gold Green.

Carmex to moisturize the lips
Wet and Wild l/l in Willow to line the lips to prevent lipstick from feathering.
L'oreal Colour Riche l/s in Pink Tranquilo.

This is my current favorite lipstick. Its a soft nude pink with peach undertone. Sooo pretty! Its a great alternative to a traditional nude lipstick.

Have a great day!!
