How to: Make glitters stick on your lids/skin
I got a question in my email from an anonymous reader. "What do you use to make glitters stick on your eyes?" Using them are so much fun and it adds more interest to your look. On the other hand, I hate how its gets all over the place ugh! So what do I use to make those sparkly bad boys stick? clear lip gloss! I like to apply it thinly on my lid on top of my eye makeup. I like to stay under the crease the eye to prevent creasing. Then I use a sponge tip applicator to pat on the glitters. It still gets a little messy but the outcome is worth it ^_^

Hi Becky! I wore this kind of look a few weeks ago and some glitters ended up being on my forehead! Lol. I think I should try this tip next time I'm sporting some glitters on my eyes ;)

ReplyDeletei like the blue glitters too becks hope i can wear that here hehe probably a head turner eye look
ReplyDeletegreat tip! unfortunately it doesn't really work for my lids because because my crease isn't very prominent and I'll get awful creasing. Usually I'd use mixing medium and also apply the glitter over a layer of wet eyeshadow.

ReplyDeleteHaha ok I leave this tip for EVERYBODY looking for a good fixative or mixing medium. Are you ready?
ReplyDeletePIXIE EPOXY PIXIE EPOXY PIXIE EPOXY!!!
Lol that stuff is a heaven-send! Use it over your favorite base, and it will last FOREVER! It's something like $7 a bottle at Fyrinnae.com, and it is SO worth it!
Gloss is a no-no for me, it ends up all over my lids! I prefer placing glitter on top of a cream shadow before it dries.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look, the blue glitter looks amazing!
Looks freaken AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeletefor some reason glitter always looks tacky on me :( i must find a way so i can look as pretty as you! :D
ReplyDeleteoh la la! somebody is getting glitterized and looking fabulous in it!
