December Birchbox + Our Very First Christmas Tree!

Kiko didn't tell me my Birchbox arrived the other day. He placed it under the tree for me to find lol. It took me a few days to notice. It blended with the rest of the presents perfectly! Cute huh?

This month's Birchbox is filled with product samples that will help us get through the cold winter. I like the snowflakes on the box. It makes an instant gift to anyone!

As always, eveyrthing is nicely packaged. I love the shimmery metallic paper.

Here's what I got....

Olie Biologigue 004 Huile Moderne
Try saying that 5 times! An oil moiturizer for the face, body and hair. My skin has been super dry this winter, and I can't wait to try it.

Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Birchbox Pink
A customized shade made exclusively for Birchbox. It's a gorgeous bight fuchsia shade perfect for the Holiday. It's so pretty!

Benefit The POREfessional
Yes! I've been wanting to try this primer. It's supposed to make the pores smaller and smooth the face for a seemless foundation applicaton.

Harvey Prince Yogini
It has notes of sandalwood, Egyption myrrh and grapefruit that supposed to make you feel calm and relax. This is another scent to added to my perfume sample collection.

Prep Show Stoppers Designer Tape
Double-sided tape strips that will help your dress to stay in place. I don't think I'll be using it anytime soon, but it's good to have one. You never know when you'll need one.

Recharge Boost Orange Natural Energy Drink Booster
This is interesting, but I honestly don't care for it.

I've heard so many people unsubscribed to Birchbox because they have been displeased with the samples. Many feel they are not worth $10. I thought of unsubscribing too, but I'm still going to give them a chance. I do enjoy trying different high end brands I've never heard before. I just hope to see more decent sized samples that I can use more than 1-2 times and less irrelevant samples like food and coasters lol.

Did you get this month's Birchbox? What do you think?

Here is our Christmas Tree!!! We spent a little bit more than what we wanted, but it was worth it. The tree is perfect as is it. No trimming needed and it looks fresh and healthy!

Have a great week!!!

  1. Your Christmas tree is beautiful.. so festive! Did they really give out coasters in previous Birch boxes? LOL That's very lame.
