FOTN & Outfit: The Nutcracker

It's a family tradition to see my nieces perform in the Nutcracker every year. And this year is quite a big deal because my nieces pretty much got the main roles, especially my eldest nice Ysabella who plays the Sugar Plum Fairy. We're all excited.

It's so exciting to see them grow as ballerinas. They are such good kids and they work so hard, and our family supports them to the fullest. It's funny, I still get a bit teary eyed every time I see them dance on stage. They're beautiful, oh so graceful...And I may be bias, but they are really good.

See them featured on the Beverly Hills Courier newspaper HERE.

This is the look I wore at the show. I did a gold and brown eyes with gold glitter liner and natural nude lips. It's a such a wearable yet festive look for the Holiday.

I rummaged through my makeup collection, trying to decide on what palette to use. I ended up using Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Palette in Vanity. This palette is from over the Summer, so some of  you might have it in your collection. I was drawn to the gold and bronze colors in the palette. They were so pretty. However, the gold is a bit sheer in my opinion. I had to use a gold color base underneath to make the color appear brighter...no biggie!

I used all the colors in the palette to create the eye look.
shimmery beige- on the inner corner
shimmery gold- all over the lids
shimmery bronze- outer corner
matte brown- crease/definer/lower lash line
matte soft brow- above the crease/ blending or transition color
matte beige- brow bone.

I added a gold liner above the black liner for a subtle pop of gold color. I used Wet n Wild Glitter Liner in Hypnotic

My OOTN "Outfit of the Night"

This is my first time trying a my crochet vest with a blazer over it. I wasn't sure how it's going to look, but it turned out nice. It looks chic noh? I also added a skinny black belt, which made the outfit look complete.

Oh, and look...I'm only wearing nail polish on my left hand. Weird! I can't paint my nails with my left hand O_o. I'm wearing Zoya nail polish in Izzy in case you want to know. Hey, Izzy is my niece Ysabella's nickname in school ^_^.
