Neutral and Pink Wedding Makeup... featuring NewYorkColor Smooch Proof LipStain

A few months ago, I did my friend's wedding makeup. See more about her in my Sephora Makeover post. She didn't have any preference of what look she wanted. She just told me to do my thing and make her look pretty. I felt honored for the trust she gave me, so I brought my A game and did what I do best.

Lian is a simple girl. The little things makes her happy. She's also very fun and quirky, and you will always catch her with a smile. I wanted that personality to show in her makeup. So, I chose to do a soft and natural look with pop of pink on her lips. It's a sweet and fun just like Lian.

Here's what I did...

face:
-Graftobian Oxyderm Moisturizer (all over her face. This hydrates and improve's the skin's texture)
-Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme in Golden Sunset (applied with a moist beauty blender. This blends the foundation evenly)
-medium shade concealer in Sedona Lace 8 pan concealer pelette (applied under her eyes and around her nose to conceal any discoloration)
-Dermablend Prodessional Setting Powder (Dusted lightly all over the face to set the makeup)

eyes:
-Milani beige eyeshadow all over the lids.
- Sedona Lace 88 Color Warm Palette (Soft brown on the crease, dark brown on the outer corner, just enough to add definition)
-Smashbox Jet Set eye liner in Midnight Black (Applied on the upper lash line and water line. It's water proof and smudge proof)
-Maybelline waterproof mascara

cheeks:
-MAC powder blush in Gingerly (applied on the apple of the cheeks and blended towards the temple)

lips:
-Carmex lip balm (I applied this prior to face makeup. This will prep the lips for the lip color)
-NYC NewYorkColor Smooch Proof LipStain in Persistent Pink ( It's the perfect pink color to add some fun and brightness to the look. It's a stain so it will last for a long time. She can smooch her husband and the color won't fade. It's the perfect lip product for a wedding!)

Here's the proof. They kissed so many times and her lips are still pink and gorgeous!

Here is a closer look of her makeup. Isn't she a beautiful bride?

I hope you find this post helpful. Have a great day everyone!

As for 80s and 90s music, glad to hear someone as young as you likes it too. It's fun to rock to them every now and then. :D
