Limited Edition Wet n Wild Fauna Collection...Review/Swatches

Happy Easter, everyone! Here is the limited edition Wet n Wild Fauna Collection. I recently did a review and swatches on the Flora Collection, which you can find HERE.  In comparison to the Flora collection, I find that Fauna is more on the fantasy, mystical side. The colors has cool under tone with lots of shimmers that works best with pale to light skin tone. But if you have darker skin tone like I do, don't stop yourself from trying this collection. I just did a makeup look using it, and it looks great on me.

Wet n Wild says,
"Enter our lush gardens of beauty, fantasy and desire. 2 flourishing collection in playful and seductive shades that evoke Spring's infinite possibilities" (taken from wnwbeauty.com)

Fauna: In our wild, untamed world of Fauna, the femme fatale is freed to seduce with rose-thorn cheeks, dark bold eyes, poisonous petal lips and mysteriously colored nails.

Fauna Collection includes...

  • 1 Color Icon eye shadow trio in Fauna
  • 1 Color Icon mini blushes in Pearlescent Pink
  • 1 Glassy Gloss lip gel
  • 1 Fast Dry nail color in Teal or No Teal

What I like:
  • The value. It's such a great price for what you're getting! 4 products for $4.99! That's crazy!
  • The Color Icon blush in Pearlescent Pink. It's one of my favorite blushes ever! It's so bright and pigmented and a little goes a long way. It's also a pretty good dupe for NARS blush in Orgasm, a peachy pink with gold shimmers. It looks amazing!!!
  • The eye shadows compliment each other and I was able to create a look using only the trio. They also have shimmers, but still looks flattering.
  • The eye shadows are easy to apply and blend.

What I don't like:
  • My least favorite is the Glassy Gloss lip gel. It's a pretty color, but it has a metallic finish that makes me look washed out. It's not flattering against my medium/tan skin tone. It looks much better on pale to light skin tone.
  • The Fast Dry nail color in Teal or No teal is very sheer. It took about 3-4 coats for the color to show up on my nails.

    1. That's awesome!!! Yeah, the lipgloss is really metallic. It's a pretty color, but it doesn't look too good on me.

  7. Photobucket is blocking all your gorgeous photos... just to let you know. It says you have had too many views. I did get to see them in my email though.

The crease color is extremely pigmented.. just fair warning. It's beautiful, but be careful because it will take over your entire look in a hurry. I find I have to apply it with a really small brush and put it just where I want it. The purple is also very pretty, the perfect lavender shade.
