Hey guys, I just want to share a makeup look I wore to my friend's graduation dinner last week. I'm so proud of my friend Grace. All her hard work and perseverance has finally paid off. She graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor's degree in Art History whooo hooo!!!
For this look, I decided to do a gold and brown smoky eyes with nude lips. I've done this kind of look plenty of times. A shimmery color on the lids and a dark color on the crease then blended out with a blending brush. It's pretty easy to do. I also applied a forest green eye liner on my upper lash line and water line. It's not as harsh as a black eye liner, yet it still defined and framed my eyes. Hopefully you can see it because it's a pretty color.
Here's what I used...
face:
-Rimmel London Fix and Perfect foundation primer
-MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC42
-Almay Eye Base concealer in light/medium
-MakeUpForEver HD Powder
brows:
-NYC Brow Kit in Brunette
eyes:
-Urban Decay Primer Potion
-NYX eye shadow in Yellow Marigold
-Wet n Wild Color Icon I Heart Matte eye shadow palette (Brown and Black eye shadows)
-Physicians Formula Organic Wear eye liner pencil in Black Olive
cheeks:
-Sally Hansen Natural Beauty by Carmindy in Cherub
lips:
-Wet n Wild Color Icon lip liner in Willow
-Revlon Matte lipstick in Nude Attitude (applied lightly by dabbing. It's the only way I can make this color work because it's too pale for my skin tone.)

We went to The Stinking Rose restaurant in Beverly Hills. As you call probably tell by the name and the cute and funny hat in the photo below, it's a garlic restaurant haha. OMG, I love it!!! Their food is really good and super garlicky. I'll talk more about it on my food blog.

My friend Grace and I.
