What's an appropriate work makeup? Well, it depends on your work. If you work at MAC cosmetics or any makeup counter, you can get creative with your makeup and show your skills. But if you work at an office that requires you to dress conservative, you might want to tone down the makeup and save the rainbow eyes on the weekends. Makeup sure to check with your work policy and find out what's appropriate and what's not.
I filmed myself while getting ready to go to work. I can pretty much wear any kind of makeup to work, but I decided to do a subtle smoky eyes. It's wearable for daytime and appropriate for most work.

For the eye makeup, I used my new eye shadow palette by City Color Cosmetics. You can get it at your local Rite Aid. It's my first time trying this brand and I'm really impressed with the quality of the eye shadows. I used shimmery bronze, vanilla and black. They were easy to apply and pigmented. I really like it.
