Hello everyone! It feels like forever since I updated my blog. I feel so bad. I haven't even replied to all your comments and I have so much catching up to do on my blog reads. My new work has taken a lot of my time and it's kind of stressful time for me at the moment. I'm at that training phase where I need to learn so many things and I'm just trying my best to stay focus and do everything right.
Anyway, I want to share with you my current foundation routine. This is pretty much what I do before I apply my eye shadows, blush and lipstick. It's simple and easy to follow. There's a tutorial at the end of this post if you're interested on how I do it. I hope you like it.

Products I use:
1. Sugar Lip Treatment in Rose (photo not shown)- I got it as a birthday gift from Sephora. I've been using it ever since I got it for my birthday in the beginning of this year and I love it. I will definitely purchase a full size when I finished them.
2. Yes To Carrots Repairing Night Cream (see photo HERE)- I alternate it with my Seaweed Mattifying Lotion from the Body Shop when I feel like my face is a bit dry. It really helps bring back the moisture to my skin.
3. Reviva Labs Makeup Primer- I still need to do a formal review on this stuff. It's my favorite primer at the moment. It keeps my foundation on for a long time. It's awesome!
4.MAC Studio Fix Fluid with spf 15 in NC42- Still trying to finish it up lol. I love this foundation. It feels and looks natural on me. You can read my review HERE.
5. Almay Bright Eyes eye base/concealer in light/medium- It's a liquid concealer that is light weight and doesn't cake under my eyes. Too bad it's discontinued.
6. Make Up For Ever HD powder- This setting powder is amazing. It sets my makeup very well and keeps my makeup from moving around.
7. Wet n Wild Color Icon lip liner in Willow- My all time favorite nude lip liner. It's creamy, easy to apply and super affordable too! See how a swatch HERE.
Here is my video on how I do it.
Have a great weekend!!!
Thanks for sharing your routine! I've been into just concealing scars with a thick bb cream/foundation and using loose powder with spf! No full face of foundation for me, it's been good on my skin.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Sharlynn. I haven't tried BB cream before.
DeleteGreat foundation routine.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tanisa
DeleteI love my Studio Fix. We are the same shade :) I've been looking for a nude lip liner and I'm going to check out that Wet N Wild one. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteHello. Wet n Wild lip liner is pretty good. For 99cents, I really can't complain!
DeleteStudio FIx is the best. No wonder your skin always looks flawless.

Deletelooks great. I think I'm too slow, because my foundation routine takes too much time and everyday I give up finishing my make up :)

I'm glad to see you like the Reviva Labs Primer too! I've been using that non-stop since last August. It's not oil free, so you would think makeup would slide right off if you have oily skin, but nope, that stuff is great! Plus it literally lasts FOREVER (well, until the so convenient expiration date they put on the bottom!), I only have a little bit missing from the jar, pretty good for a years worth of use!
