June 2012 Glossybox...Better Late Than Never

It's sorta my day off today and I'm just at home doing a few chores while watching my favorite Travel Channel. I also ordered Thai food because I'm feeling lazy to cook. These are the little things in life that I really enjoy. What's yours?

Anyway, I want to share my June Glossybox. Sorry, I'm two months late. But better late than never right? If you are not familiar with Glossybox, it's simply a monthly subscription service where you get 5 to 6 deluxe high-end beauty samples in a gorgeous box shipped right to your door step for $21 a month. Click HERE to learn more. I've said it many times that I'm a big fan of these kinds of services because I get to try different kinds of products/brands without breaking the bank.

The theme for June is "Summer Simplicity". It's all about going back to basics and letting your natural beauty shine through. The products included are supposed to help us to do so.

Here's what I got...

As always Glossybox came in a gorgeous packaging. The box is so sturdy, you can re-use it.

Full size Beauty Addicts Show-OFF Mascara in Jet Black (Full size price: $20)- I've never heard of this brand before, but just by the name "Show-OFF", this better be amazing ^_^.  It claims to give lashes a dramatic look without clumps and smudges.

A sample of FAB First Aid Beauty Smooth Shave Cream (Full size price: $16.50). The brand name First Aid Beauty is so clever. Love it. I love a good shaving cream and I'm so excited to try this out. It promises to "Obtain a silky smooth shave, minimize nics and razor irritation and moisturize."

A sample of Kinerase Restructure Firming Cream (Full size price: $98). Like what I've mentioned before, skin care samples are my least favorite because I already have a skin care regimen that works for me. However, you might enjoy this sample if you are looking for a firming cream. Kinerase is a well known anti-aging skin care brand that has been around for years. This products promises to soften fine lines and wrinkles.

A sample of Shea Terra Organics Ultimate Moisturizing Body Creme (Full size price: $18). Never heard of this brand/product before and I'm in love! I tried it as soon as I got it and have been using it as an alternate to my Blueberry body butter from The Body Shop. It has 30% Shea Butter  that supposed to provide the skin with intensive moisturizing. It's whipped and light weight and easily gets absorbed into the skin. I will do a formal review on it.

A sample of Wella Professionals Enrich Moisturizing Treatment (Full size price: $12.00). I was happy to see Wella in the box. I haven't seen this brand for the longest time. Wella is well known for awesome hair products. I can't wait to give it a try.

EXTRA: A perfume sample of A Perfume Organic Urban Organic. Yay for another perfume sample. It had lime peel, basil, ginger, veviter, lavander and grapefruit. It sounds like an odd mixture, but it actually works. It's not something I would wear though. It smells earthy with a hint of sweetness.

Another Extra: July 2012 Glossymag, a mini magazine filled with beauty tips, tricks and makeup looks for the Summer. It's actually pretty cool!

Overall, it's a pretty good box. The full size mascara which retails for $20 is almost worth the the same price of the box. I'm also pleased that the rest of the samples contains a lot of product. I can get more than 2-3 uses out of them, which is pretty good.

Have you gotten your Glossybox yet?
