Face4Less: Haifa Wehbe Inspired Makeup Look

Happy Monday!!!! Here is another Face4Less look. I did a Haife Wehbe inspired makeup look. Do you know who she is? She's really popular Lebanese celebrity. I had no clue who she was until I started seeing her performance videos on youtube. She's very beautiful and actually reminds me of Kim Kardashian with her long, thick black hair and smoky eyes.

For the look, most of the time, you will see her with black smoky eyes with intense liner, so that's what I decided to do. But I added my own twist by adding a purple eye shadow on the crease and a pale pink lip color. Next time, I'll do a much more similar look of her makeup with her tiny cute mole!

Here are some Haifa Whebe looks I found on google that I really like! They are most likely photo shopped and I know she had a nose job, but I still think she's beautiful.

I used all affordable drugstore makeup except for some face makep to achieve this look. I used Wet n Wild Color Icon Trios in Dancing In The Cloud (purple color) and Enter A New Realm (black color)

Milani Mosaic Powder Blush in Afterglow, Sally Hansen Natural Beauty blush in Cherub

Products used:

face:
-MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC42
-Sheer Cover concealer duo in light/medium
-Makeup Forever HD Microfinish Powder

eyes:
-Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Enter A New Realm (black color)
-Wet n Wild Color Icon Trio in Dancing In The Clouds (purple color)
-Wet n Wild Color Icon single eye shadow in Sugar
-Wet n Wild Color Icon eye liner in black
-L'Oreal Fiber Lashes mascara

cheeks:
-Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Inspired by Carl Mindy blush in Cherub
-Milani Mosaic Blush in Afterglow

lips:
-Wet n Wild Mega Last lipstick in 901B Think Pink

And here is my makeup tutorial with the ugly thumbnail gaaaahhh... I hope you watch it!

Unboxing March Birchbox Youtube Video!

I posted a video unboxing my March Birchbox on my youtube channel. You can see close up photos of the products HERE. Like what I said on my previous blog post, I really like all the samples this month. 2 full size products whoo hoo!

Did you get the same things I did?

L'Oreal 24Hr Infallible Eye in Amber Rush...Photos/Swatch

The "Infallible" eye shadows from L'Oreal are becoming more and more popular. It's difficult not to fall in love with them because the colors are vibrant, pigmented, quite creamy and truly are infallible that doesn't crease, fade or budge at all. It's such an affordable luxury in a small pot!

So I picked up Amber Rush, which is the most beautiful coppery bronze color I've ever seen! Gaaahhh...just like Midnight Blue, it was love at first swatch. The color is so vibrant, and they are like moist pigments that I find quite creamy to the touch.

What I like:
  • The color. It's a great all over lid color for day or night time.
  • The metallic finish. It gives a really pretty highlight on my lids, especially when light hits it.
  • It really is infallible. It doesn't crease and stays put all day/night without a primer.
  • Unlike Midnight Blue, I didn't have any problem blending the color. It was very easy to blend.
  • It has a creamy texture to it.
  • Affordable. Price varies from store to store, but you can always find a coupon in the news paper to use.

What I don't like:
  • None.

Swatch with flash and natural light.

Do you own Amber Rush?

MAC lipstick in I Like It Like That

Recently re discovered my MAC lipstick in I Like It Like That that my cousin gave me last year. If you remember, it came out in the MAC "In The Groove" collection back in July 2010. It's a gorgeous pale pink with blue undertone. It looks quite pale against my tan/medium skin, but I can still pull if off by toning down the color with a sheer pink gloss on top. It also has a cremesheen finish, which gives the lips that creamy and high shine effect. Sooo pretty!

Swatch on my arm with flash and natural light.

I believe it is discontinued, but similar shades are MAC Viva Glam lipstick in Lady Gaga and MAC lipstick in Snob.

Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask Cucumber

Just want to share a facial mask that I've been enjoying lately. I received a full size sample of the Freeman Facial Peel-Off Mask in Cucumber from MyGlam bag last January. I've seen this brand before at drugstores, but I never had the urge to try it. I've been using it for the past 2 weeks and I quite like it.

Product claim: (taken from drugstore.com)

"Clarifies and Renews Skin. Made with natural, botanical ingredients, new Freeman Feeling Beautiful is a full range of skin and body care products to help you look and feel your best. This clarifying mask gently peels away impurities while Cucumber extract leaves your skin smooth and silky."

What I like:
  • The scent. It smells nice and refreshing.
  • Easy to peel off.
  • Great step before applying foundation/makeup because it makes my skin feel fresh and smooth.
  • Very inexpensive
What I don't like:
  • It's very sticky and a bit difficult to blend on the skin.
  • The smooth feeling is temporary.

It's not the best mask I've ever tried, but for the price, it's pretty good!

Have you tried this mask before? What are your thoughts?
