MyGlam is now Ipsy...beauty by you!

I just got my Myglam or should I say Ipsy...beauty by you package. Myglam has switched to a new name. I'm not sure why, but they say it's the same monthly subscription service where you get awesome deluxe beauty samples from different brands. And I agree! This month's bag is awesome. I love the lip gloss, eye shadow and the smudger brush. It's really worth the $10. I hope they keep it up.

I checked out the website and I noticed a few changes. It reminds me of Beautylish where its a big community of people who share their passion for makeup and beauty. You can  upload your own videos, makeup looks, like products and make friends. It's pretty cool!

This month's bag is a black satin wrist bag. Isn't it cute? I think it's my favorite bag so far. I like that it's black and can go with any outfits.

SOHO Smudge Brush. This is my favorite in the bag. I can never get enough of makeup brushes, especially a good smudger and works as a crease brush as well. The bristles are really soft and I love the long handle.

Jane Sparkle Gloss. I thought the brand Jane is no longer available. Does this mean they are coming back? It's a pretty deep pink with pink and silver shimmers. It's so pretty!

Circus by Andrea's Choice nail polish in Tightrope. It's a gorgeous purple magenta color. I'm not a nail polish person like I've said many times, but this is a really pretty color. It took about 2 coats to get full coverage.

Carols Daughter Monoi Repairing Split End Sealer. I've heard of this brand before on television being mentioned by many celebrities. I'm pretty excited to try it out. I sure can use a split end sealer for my long hair.

Mirabella eye shadow in Semiformal. It's a gorgeos bronze color with slight silver shimmers. It's not as shimmery so it would definitely work as a crease color.

A Just Fab coupon was also included. I'm not sure if I will use it, but a coupon is always nice. Overall, I'm really pleased with the bag. It's worth more then $10 and I can definitely see myself using the products..

What do you guys think of this month's MyGlam or Ipsy?
Or what do you think of the new name, Ipsy?
I would love to hear your thoughts.

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach

Vineyard Peach is here!!! It's The Body Shop's newest scent. If you guys are not familiar with The Body Shop, it's a body care and skincare retail store and they are known for their amazing body butters. I was very excited when I heard peach is being added to their collection. I'm a big fan of their body butters, especially the fruit scented ones, so I was really looking forward to it. It's been available online, but now you can finally get it at your local The Body Shop if you're a Love Your Body card member. It will be available to non-members September 24, 2012.

Vineyard Peach comes in a shower gel, body butter, body lotion and body scrub. I was able to get the body lotion and the cream body scrub.

Vineyard Peach body lotion $12
It has wild peach extract, Mediterranean peach kernel oil, community fair trade shea butter and brazil nut oil. It's very light and refreshing and it smells like freshly sliced peaches. Yum!

Vineyard Peach cream body scrub $19
I don't really need another scrub, but how can I resist? It's a creamy scrub with crushed coconut shells, peach seed powder and peach extract. It's more abrasive than my Sweet Lemon body scrub and exfoliates really well and leaves my skin feeling smooth.

I will have a separate review on these products very soon. If you want to learn more about The Body Shop Vineyard Peach, click HERE.

Far by the best Glossybox yet...

Hey guys, long time no blog. Planning the wedding and work has taken a lot of my time. It's fun, but gosh, it's a lot of work. Maybe I'll do a separate post on the wedding preparations to let you in on what I've been up to. But I promise to blog more this week. I have several product reviews coming up and some awesome giveaways!

For now, I want to share with you the best Glossybox yet. I've always been pleased with Glossybox, but this month was far supurb from the rest. If you remember, the very first Glossybox was perfect (See it HERE), but I didn't count it since it was a preview box. This box for August  came with 2 high end full size products and 3 deluxe samples that are almost full size. What more can I ask?

The theme for August is "Pure Luxury". According to Glossybox, Summer is ending and it's all about indulging on products that are nourishing to preserve our sun-kissed beauty.

Product List

A sample of Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment. It's the smallest out of the sample, but I'm sure I can get a few uses out of it. It's supposed to replenish and add instant shine to the hair.

Full size ELLIS FAAS Milky Lips in L204. This is far by the most interesting lip product I own. Doesn't the packaging looks like a long bullet? lol. It's a twistly lipgloss pen with a brush tip applicator. 204 is a orange red color that is perfect for fall. I'll do a swatch on a separate post.

Full size Illamasqua nail varnish in Taint. OMG! This is my very first Illamasqua product. Not a nail polish person, but I love that it's Illamasqua. Although the chocolate brown color is not something I would pick for myself, it's still a beautiful color and very fall appropriate.

A sample of Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster. First time hearing about this brand. It's supposed to have Vitamin V complex to help smooth out lines and wrinkles. I already have a skin regimen that works for me, but this stuff sounds awesome and I really want to give it a try!

A sample of Touch in Sol Feel Like Honey Moon Skin Base. First time hearing this brand too. I love how it's almost full size! It's a moisturizer and face primer in one. How interesting! I will give this a try and let you know my thoughts.

Glossy Mag The Neon Issue is Love. It has some helpful and valuable beauty tips inside!

Overall, August Glossybox is worth the $21. All the products are really interesting to try.!
