Review: The Body Shop Strawberry Body Mist

I'm not a big perfume person. I find them a bit too harsh for me and sometimes gives me a headache. If I want to smell good, I just simply do the old school way and take a shower ^_^. But to add a little scent to my body, I prefer body splash or mist. They're much lighter and I can layer the scent without it being too over powering.

Here is a review of one of my favorite body mist, The Body Shop Body Mist in Strawberry. It's one of my favorite scent from The Body Shop. It smells like real strawberries. It's sweet, refreshing and doesn't give me a headache.

Read on for my review...

The Body Shop says, "Our Strawberry takes on a fresh new form. Spray this light scented body mist all over your body for a gentle burst of sweet fruitiness. It’s irresistible. Sweet strawberry fragrance Light and fresh Use all over body Contains strawberry extract" (source:

What you need to know...

  • Main ingredients are Community Fair Trade alcohol strawberry extract so it smells like real strawberries. They actually use sugar cane alcohol from Ecuador, which is raw and pure and non-harmful to the skin. Learn more about Community Fair Trade HERE.
  • The Body Shop does not test on animals
  • It provides a light fragrance, but you can layer to build intensity. In my experience, it pretty much last me all day.
  • The scent changes a bit once it settles into my clothes and skin. After awhile, El Hubby says I smell like red wine lol. I strongly disagree. The scent gets even sweeter and I like it.
  • It comes in a glass bottle instead of plastic like most body mist. This extends the product's expiration.
  • The sprayer spritz out a nice mist and not a squirt like other body mist.

I love it and I highly recommend it if you're a big fan of strawberries. It's light, sweet and refreshing. Use it along with strawberry shower gel and body butter to get the ultimate strawberry experience.
