Review/Photos: Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Rose Romance

Lip crayons are one of my favorite lip products. They're just like lipsticks but in a form of a chunky crayon. It had a medium, round tip that allows for a precise application. This review is on the shade Rose Romance which is a pale pink with a matte finish. But they have other shades in different finishes available on their website.

Read on for my thoughts...

Here's what you need to know...

  • Rose Romance is a pale pink color. It looks too pale on my medium/tan skin tone so I need to apply just a little bit and blend.
  • It comes in a retractable packaging, so no sharpening required.
  • Easy to apply. It has a medium round point tip makes it easier to apply.
  • Creamy and glides on the lips smoothly.
  • Opaque and covers my entire lips with one layer.
  • Rose Romance has a matte finish.
  • It's a bit drying for me after an hour, which is common for matte lipsticks, so I have to make sure I apply a good lip moisturizer underneath.
  • Retails for $14. There's a Pouty Pop Crayon Kit available on their website for only $25. Buy it HERE.

Overall, I'm a fan of this lip crayon. It's easy to use and I like how I don't have to sharpen it. However, Rose Romance would look much better on people with pale to light skin tone.

Have you tried it any of the Pop Beauty products?

  1. That looks pretty. I have Fuchsia Flirt, and it is more a bubblegum pink than a fuchsia, but still nice. :)
