The Power of Makeup

 photo MVI_3404-001_zpsoetxavw3.jpg

This post was inspired by NikkieTutorials on Youtube. She created a video showing the power of makeup after noticing girls hesitant to admit their love for it. As stated in her video, "Nowadays when you love makeup, you either do it because you want to look good for boys. You do it because you are insecure. Or, you do it because you don't love yourself". #realtalk.

For me, I love makeup because I want to look good for myself and El Hubby, of course (although he doesn't care if I wear makeup or not). I love myself, but I do have a bit of insecurities. Who doesn't? I'm not ashamed to admit that I sometimes rely on makeup as a mood booster. I use a concealer to cover up those dang blemishes I have and I feel much better about how I look when I have a full "caked" face that's on point that I don't wanna take it off. Is that so bad? In my opinion, to each his own. I love makeup. I love how it makes me feel and, it's okay ^_^.

I love Nikkie's video because you can clearly see right before your eyes how makeup can be change one's appearance. It's magical. It's art. It's powerful and amazing!

So, I decided to makeup my own version. Watch the video below to see it.
